I stand here and accept everything that comes and goes.
I rejoice from every moment.
I am happy to hide two lovers who come to me and say their great love;
I am happy when I can provide my crown with a shadow from the warm sunshine.
I'm happy when I play with the wind and my leaves sing.
I am happy when the rain pours me over and my roots can drink.
I am happy when someone embraces me and caresses me.
And when it comes my time to leave, I am happy to give you the warmth I can put, or decorate your homes.
And when I fall and remain unnoticed, I am happy to be changing in something else and by my decomposition I can give the land a livelihood.
